What sensitivity do CS2 pros use?
Most CS2 pros use an eDPI (effective DPI) between 600 and 1200. eDPI = DPI × in-game sensitivity. For example, 800 DPI × 1.25 sens = 1000 eDPI. donk uses 800 DPI and 1.25 sensitivity (1000 eDPI). s1mple uses 400 DPI and 3.09 (1236 eDPI). Both are in the common “medium” range.
Recommended sensitivity range
Low eDPI (400–800): Slower, very precise, good for AWP and holding angles. Medium eDPI (800–1200): Balanced; most riflers use this. High eDPI (1200+): Faster flicks, better for entry and 180° turns. Start in the 800–1000 eDPI range and adjust from there.
